The wall
A people gathered, not a crowd scattered across clips. Worship that can bear the name of Christ.
The church vision
Named for the man who rebuilt the wall and gathered the people to hear the Book. This is the ecclesial hope of the ministry — prayed, not pretended.
“You will be called the Repairer of Breaches, the Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.”
Nehemiah wept over a city whose walls were broken and whose gates were burned. Then he prayed, then he built, then he stood while Ezra read the Law until the people understood. The name Néhémie is that sequence: grief, prayer, work, and the Word in public.
HOK Ministries is not yet a planted congregation with a Sunday address to publish. Hervé serves in a local church now. Néhémie is the church family this work is aimed toward — a people of disciples, not an audience. The framework is being written in this foundation season. A first local planting is on the horizon of the years ahead, not a claim about this month.
What can be said without inflation is the shape. Word. Prayer. A life in the Spirit. Formation. Mercy. Media, if it comes, will be a servant of that, not a substitute.
A people gathered, not a crowd scattered across clips. Worship that can bear the name of Christ.
As in Nehemiah 8: the Law opened, the people standing, the sense given. Scripture in the middle of the square.
Isaiah’s promise is not only repaired stone. It is streets with dwellings — lives that can be lived with God again.
A later work of this vision is care for the poor. It is not a program with numbers yet. It is a debt the gospel already names.

If you are looking for a place to begin before a building exists, begin with the Word and with Fire & Word. A church that cannot pray yet should not rush to announce itself.
